Scenes from yesterday’s American Legion baseball game, a win over the East Side team 2-0. Northborough’s post is currently in 5th place with 7 games remaining. Avoid the ticket and the traffic hassles, root your home team on! Remaining home games on the 7th, 8th and 9th at 5:30pm (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) as they wrap up their season this week. Home field is Memorial Field on East Main Street.
Also this week, Thursday (9th), the first summer (free) concert for this season will be at Ellsworth-McAfee field, 6 to 8pm. The 7 piece band, Chicken Slacks, plays a blend of classic soul and R&B covers. Bring a picnic and enjoy an evening at the park.
