Looking for a volunteer opportunity? Consider serving on the Cultural Council, the committee evaluates proposals for community-oriented arts, humanities, and science projects. These grants can support a variety of artistic projects and activities in Northborough–including exhibits, festivals, short-term artist residencies or performances in schools, workshops and lectures. This year, the Northborough Cultural Council will distribute about $5,000 in grants. The serving term of a member is three year and involves 3-4 hours per month from October through January to evaluate proposals for the year.
