The Girl Scout Giving Tree is a service project to benefit The Helping Hands Organization of Northborough, Troop 30486 Northborough Senior Girl Scout Troop is coordinating the effort. The tree is located at the Northborough Library in the area near the checkout desk. Donations of new hats, mittens, gloves and scarves are welcomed until Friday, December 18th when the library closes (which is 5 p.m. on Fridays). The items will be distributed by the Helping Hand Organization on Saturday, December 19th to Northborough families in need.
