All area boys and girls in grades 3-12 who enjoy singing are welcome to join the Promusica Youth Chorus! Rehearsals are Mondays beginning 6:30 pm at Hudson High School’s Chorus Room, 69 Brigham Street beginning January 4 (no rehearsal on Jan. 18th) The Youth Chorus will be getting ready for concerts planned for May 7 and June 17.
The River’s Edge Community Band resumes weekly rehearsals January 7. New members are always welcome! Rehearsals are held on Thursdays from 7 – 9 pm in the Band Room (C108) at Hudson High School, 69 Brigham Street. The band will begin rehearsing for its Spring Concert, April 8th, and for the annual Yesue Memorial Concert, June 16th.
River’s Edge Players announces auditions for “The Importance of Being Earnest ” Monday, Jan. 11 & Thursday, Jan. 14 at Hudson High School Auditorium, 69 Brigham Street, Hudson, from 7- 9 p.m.
Known as the Hudson Area Arts Alliance when it first incorporated in March of 1991, the Arts Alliance is a non-profit organization which has spurred the area’s vibrant cultural and artistic resources to flourish, administered by a resourceful staff of two full-time and two part-time professionals under founder Jan Patterson’s direction. Supported by a volunteer board of enthusiastic directors and more than 350 members from 30 area communities, the Arts Alliance offers a broad array of dynamic arts activities in which thousands of adults and children participate.
