The Northborough Woman’s Club, through the General Federation of Women’s Clubs of Massachusetts is offering 4 scholarships for high school seniors in Massachusetts.
- The 2010 Pennies for Art Scholarship of up to $800, submission deadline of February 1, 2010.
- The Education-Teaching Scholarship of up to $500, submission deadline of February 1, 2010.
- The 2010 Women’s Italian Club of Boston Scholarship is worth up to $1,000, submission deadline of March 1, 2010.
- The “Nickels for Notes” music scholarship for high school seniors, who plan to major in piano, instrument, music education, music therapy or voice is worth up to $800, submission deadline of March 1, 2010.
Another 6 Scholarships available to women who are legal residents of Massachusetts:
- The 2010 Boston City Federation Scholarship of up to $500, is given to a women returning to college after an absence of at least four years, apply by February 1, 2010.
- The Julia Ward Howe Scholarship of up to $500 is for graduate study in political science and the applicant must have been a legal resident of Massachusetts for at least five years, apply by February 1, 2010.
- The 2010 Communication Disorder/Speech Therapy Scholarship is worth up to $800 and is for graduate study, apply by February 1, 2010.
- The Catherine E. Philbin Scholarship is worth up to $500 and is given for graduate or undergraduate study in public health, apply by February 1, 2010.
- The Music Scholarship of up to $500 is for an undergraduate major in Voice and is given in the name of the Dorchester Woman’s Club, apply by before March 1, 2010.
- The Memorial Education Fund Fellowships of at least $3000 is given to graduate study in Library Science or graduate study in Engineering. before March 1, 2010.
