Alice's Tree

Boy Scouts  of Troop 1 Northborough, the Trailblazers, participated in the Knox Trail Council Festival of Lights and Trees, a benefit to support the youth of Knox Trail Council.  The tree they created was called “Alice’s Tree” for Alice Stapelfeld of Northborough, who donated funds to start the project, the decorations were made of non-perishable food covered by green netting, lights, ribbons,  and spangles.  The contents of the tree, after the festival, was donated to the Northborough Food Pantry.  Link to read more about Troop 1 and the festival.
