On Tuesday, May 11, 2010, The Northborough Travelers (formerly Northborough Senior Trips) will be visiting the world famous Friesians of Majesty Equestrian Farm & Stables in Townshend, Vermont. After a family style luncheon at the Putney Inn, Putney, Vermont, the group will make its way to the Vermont home of the Friesians of Majesty, said to be among some of the world’s most beautiful horses. The visit includes an elegant carriage ride before watching a captivating performance of these majestic horses and a guided tour of the equestrian farm.
The bus will leave the Shrewsbury Senior Center at 8:45 a.m., Colonial Village, Northboro, at 9:00 a.m. and Trinity Church, Northboro, at 9:15 a.m. Approximate return time is 6:00 p.m. Cost is $87 and inccludes all gratuities.
