Internet Skills Technology Workshop

The Northborough-Southborough Regional School District is once again offering a technology workshop for residents of Northborough and Southborough.  Those wishing to register for “Internet Skills in the 21st Century” can choose one of two dates, March 23rd or April 15. Both sessions will be held from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Algonquin Regional High School, room D109.

The workshop will feature a number of topics:

  • Using YouTube As A Life-long Learning Tool (20 minutes) –Search for how-to videos on topics that interest you
  • RSS and Google Reader (20 minutes)–Subscribe to sites and receive regular updates
  • Collaborating in the Cloud (20 minutes)
  • Doodle, Google Documents, Buzzword, and Google Search Skills (20 minutes)– Learn to limit your search to books or scholarly articles; learn to search within a specific site, do conversions, find definitions, and more.
