Notice is hereby given that the Northborough Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 8, 2010 at 7:20 p.m. in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room, 63 Main Street, Northborough, MA to consider the proposed reorganization of the Town financial departments pursuant to Article V of the Town of Northborough Charter. Any person wishing to provide public input on the proposed reorganization should be present at the time and place designated above.
The Northborough-Southborough Regional School Committee, in compliance with Massachusetts General Law, will hold a Public Hearing on the proposed FY2011 School Budget. The hearing will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. at the Algonquin Regional High School. Immediately following the hearing, there will be an open discussion of the budget. Copies of the budget are available for examination at the Office of the Superintendent, 53 Parkerville Road, Southborough, MA, the Northborough Library, the Northborough Town Hall, the Southborough Library and the Southborough Town House.
In accordance with MGL Chap 40A sect5 the Northborough Planing Board will hold a public hearing on March 30, 2010 at 7pm, at the Town Hall 63 Main Street for the purpose of seeking public opinion on the proposed citizen’s petition. We the citizen’s of Northborough move forward for a moratorium on wireless facilities until the town reviews and or revised the current setback bylaws. This petition excludes any action against a wireless facility at the Northborough Police Station.

Town Hall Seeks to Grow a More Costly Govt in the Middle of the Worst Recession. UNBELIEVABLE
Without a fundamental requirement, or valid need, and in the middle of the Worst Recession since the 1930s Depression, and while families are struggling with their household budgets, and with people out of jobs and others concerned about loosing jobs,…..what does your Town Administrator want you to do, he wants to increase costs of municipal govt by “inventing” a new job position, a Financial Director and more!…. UNBELIEVABLE
Now who could ever believe the Town Administrator would seek to do grow a more costly town govt in these adverse economic times…UNBELIEVABLE
B.Y.O.B. Perhaps a more prudent fiscal course of action by the taxpayers is to… find a new Town Administrator? BELIEVABLE
