Below is a listing of some of the upcoming adult library programs.
Croquet on a Winter’s Day Summary
The first croquet fundraiser on February 28, was a wonderful success! The Friends of the Library raised $8,000! The game was played like miniature golf, but with wickets, mallets, and soft plastic balls. Over 70 people, ranging from toddlers to senior citizens, paid to send a ball up and down library aisles and under furniture, culminating in refreshments in the “19th wicket.” Due to budget restraint, our materials (print and non-print) budget has been reduced this year and next, putting us in jeopardy for our state aid. Contributions are still needed and welcome!
