A sure sign of Spring is the Friends of the Northborough Library Annual Spring Basket Raffle. April 5th through May 4th, the Friends will begin accepting donations of completed, filled baskets or gift certificates and items that we can combine into baskets which will be raffled in a fundraiser to benefit the Library. If you are just making an individual donation for baskets that we will put together, please have your items in no later then April 27th. A few examples of items that have been donated in the past are gardening items, beach toys, school supplies, golf supplies, computer supplies, toys and games, picnic items, sports and food baskets of any type. The raffle itself will begin during the Friends of the Library Annual Book Sale on Friday, May 7th and continue for two weekswith the final drawings on Saturday, May 22nd at noon at the library. Raffle tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00 and can be purchased at the library located at 34 Main Street during regular hours.
