Matt Pfannenstiel has lead his Eagle Scout Project to aid the citizens of Northborough in retiring their aged American Flags respectfully.
There will be a ceremony to retire the flags on June 14th starting at 7pm there will a ceremony at the American Legion in which the flags that have been collected will be respectfully retired. The American Legion is at 402 West Main Street, public is welcome to attend. If you do not have enough time to put your flags in by then do not worry because the boxes are permanent. The locations are Town Hall, Post Office, Trinity Church, American Legion, and the Senior Center.
