POPs night at Algonquin regional high school on June 3rd was a great hit. The gym was filled with parents, students, families and previous years graduate. The performances were amazing. We have a lot of local talents. We enjoyed new and old songs performed acapella style and accompanied with instrumental music. Variety of bands, jazz ensemble and orchestra were playing well known and loved music. We had the pleasure to hear large and small music groups. All the groups were performing on professional level which testifies to how good are our music teachers. And the best of all: all proceeds from this evening will be invested back into our music education programs.
