Ignacio Carrillo believes his accordion is an accursed instrument. He tries to discourage a spirited young teenager, who wants to be his apprentice, from following in his footsteps. While they discover the musical diversity of Caribbean culture, destiny has its own plans for them. 120 minutes; Spanish with English subtitles.

Applefest, 2010 Book Sale – Saturday September 11th

The Friends of the Northborough Library are having an Applefest Sidewalk Book Sale! We have an excellent selection of fiction and non-fiction, adult and children’s books. Please visit our sale while you enjoy the town-wide festival!

The sale is Saturday, September 11th, from 10 AM- 3 PM, on the sidewalk in front of the library at 34 Main Street. (In the event of bad weather, the sale will be held inside.)  All events are free and open to the public.  All are welcome.
