The Northborough Cultural Council is part of a grass-roots network of 329 local councils that serve every city and town in the state. The state legislature provides an annual appropriation to the Massachusetts Cultural Council, which then allocates funds to each local council. Last year, the Northborough Cultural Council distributed just over $5,000 in grants.
Applications and more information about the Local Cultural Council Program are available online at Mass-culture.org and information on Northborough Cultural Council can be found at Mass-culture.org/Northborough. Printed copies of the application are available at Town Hall, Northborough Public Library and the Northborough Senior Center.
Please note that the local council funds are not intended to be the sole source of funding for projects. Please review the qualifications that the cultural council will be most interested in at Mass-culture.org/Northborough.
