Tempt Your Taste Buds with Tuesday Specials at Assabet Valley
The Culinary Arts staff and students at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School are pulling out all the stops to ramp up the restaurant offerings during the week. For five Tuesdays in a row, there will be special menus designed to tantalize the taste buds. On April 26th, from 11 AM until 1 PM, it’s a Gourmet Pizza Bar, with pizza fresh from the oven, ranging from the ordinary to the exotic. Pizza with the traditional salad bar and dessert will be offered for only $8.00 per person. The following week, May 3rd, it’s The Delicatessen, a Marlborough version of the New York Deli, complete with fresh meats, sliced to order, toppings, sides, and of course a soup and salad bar, for only $8.50 per person. May 10th is a real switch…it’s a Breakfast Buffet, offered from 9 AM until 11:30 AM. Jumpstart the morning with an Omelet Station, Waffle Station, fresh fruit, pastries, coffee, tea and juice for $9.00 per person. It’s back to lunch on May 17th, with a Ballpark Cook Out, with the grills fired up to cook burgers, hot dogs, sausage, steaks, and all the trimmings and sides, for $8.00. Go Sox! The last of the special Tuesday menus is a traditional New England Clam Bake, with all you can eat ‘chowda,’ lobster, clams, shrimp , and more. This will be offered at market prices.
