By Kim Previously I listed the projects being considered by the CPC (Community Preservation Committee), here’s an update on the final cut of capital projects to be put to a vote at town meeting, Monday 4/26. The Northborough-Southborough Regional School Committee will be holding a Special Open Meeting to discuss the MSBA Reimbursement issue. Meeting will be at Algonquin Regional High School Library, 79 Bartlett Street, Northborough, MA, Wednesday, March 31, 2010, 7:00p.m. Voters must be registered by April 6th to vote in the Town Elections and at Town Meeting. Town Meeting will be April 26th and the Town Election will be May 10th. All town elected positions this year have gone unopposed. ZBA continued the hearing on the petition of T-Mobile Northeast LLC for a Variance/Special Permit to allow a Wireless Communication Facility to be located less than the required 1000-foot distance from St. Bernadette’s school and less than the required 500-foot distance from the nearest residential property line; and to allow the fence required to [...] Much of the discussion last night was in preparation of town meeting, giving public hearing time to the various articles to be addressed. At their meeting last Wednesday evening, Northborough Town Administrator, Mr. John Coderre asked the Northborough Southborough Regional School Committee to initiate a declaratory judgment in the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) reimbursement dispute between the towns of Northborough and Southborough.
