Digital Photography
Learn how to take good digital photographs and download them onto a computer.
A six week session will be taught by Sandie Scafidi (a professional photographer for over 25 years)
on Mondays from 1:00-2:30 pm. Classes will run from Sept. 13 – Oct. 25 (no class Oct. 11).

CONVERSATIONAL SPANISH
Come learn basic functions such as greetings, shopping, foods, cultural items, clothing, etc. from
Cristina Singer, a native of Argentina. Cristina has taught English and Spanish in Argentine, New Jersey,
Puerto Rico and Worcester. Classes will be held twice a week: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 – 3:30 PM for eight weeks.
Sept. 14 through November 4th. Price is $40.00 for entire 8 weeks. Must sign up and pay ahead of time.

on Sept 9th at 9am. King’s publications include Patriots Passion and The Heartache Years; his expertise as a sports writer and trivia expert

Computer Class – Fundamentals of Word
Sign up to take this 8 week class and learn to type letters, edit and design a certificate. Must have basic experience. Classes held Thursdays from 10:00 – 11:00 AM

PAINTING CLASSES
Whether you are a beginner or experienced, all are welcome to sign up for our Art Classes.
· Watercolor classes for 8 weeks starting Friday, Sept. 17th thru Nov. 5.
These classes will be taught by Helen Garcia, who has extensive background in many mediums.
A supplies list will be given at signup.
Cost $70, minimum 10 students.
· Ongoing Art Classes with Gigi will continue on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. Bring in you painting project or start anew.
Gigi has experience to share in
all art mediums. Cost: $3.00 per class.
· Acrylic Painting Classes will once again be offered for 8 weeks, beginning Sept. 20th. The instructor is Kathleen Wirtanen
who has taught for over 12 years. Even if you never painted before, or you just want to improve your painting technique,
this is the class for you.

HARMONICA CLUB The Harmonica Club is seeking additional members to join its Monday morning practice sessions. Every Monday from 10:00 to 12 noon, the Harmonica Club meets at the new Northborough Senior Center, 119 Bearfoot Road. This club started in mid-April and has 12 members so far. No special expertise is required, just a desire to play the harmonica and have fun. Seniors from neighboring towns are invited to join this fun group of men and women. DRAMA GROUP Susan McKie currently directs and produces plays for the Performing Arts Center in Framingham and would like to start a drama group. She has a degree in theatre and extensive experience, including directing for the Northborough Area Community Chorus and performing with the Southborough Players. Susan would like to work with a group rehearsing a short play maybe with a goal of showing it to family and friends.
PUT ON YOUR DANCING SHOES AND COME JOIN US FOR BALLROOM DANCING I know there are a lot of people who love to dance but find it hard to find a local place to go ballroom dancing. We have a wonderful space with a great floor. I am looking into someone to teach beginner lessons. We would hold lessons on a weekly basis and then maybe continue with a regular weekly informal afternoon dance.
