The Massachusetts American Legion honored State Representative Harold P. Naughton, Jr. (D-Clinton) as its 2010 Legislator of the Year. Rep. Naughton received the award at the Massachusetts American Legion’s state convention on June 4, 2010 in Plymouth.  Matt Pfannenstiel has lead his Eagle Scout Project to aid the citizens of Northborough in retiring their aged American Flags respectfully. There will be a ceremony to retire the flags on June 14th starting at 7pm there will a ceremony at the American Legion in which the flags that have been collected will be respectfully retired. Packages are sent quarterly. The Vincent F. Picard American Legion Post 234 is having a Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner on Saturday, February 27, 2010. The supper will be served from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the Legion home, 402 West Main Street, Northborough. The supper is open to the public.
