For Children ages 5-10 A silver award project, the highest honor a Cadette can achieve. Local girl scouts Emily M., Taylor F., and Alyssa B. are hosting an informational meeting for parents to come an hear about their project, Tuesday, Feb. 8th, 2011 7:00-8:00 p.m. in room B124, Algonquin Regional High School.  The Holly Trolley will be making the rounds on December 11th. The Northboro girl scouts’ annual kid’s holiday shop will be among the stops. Only $6 per vehicle! What a deal! Bridget O and Nicole R, Girl Scouts from Northborough troop #30482, successfully completed their Girl Scout Silver Award Project this summer. They assembled and distributed 108 backpacks to children who visited the area this summer from New York City through the Fresh Air Fund. Girl Scout Troop 801 is collected gently used & new shirts, shorts and shoes will be accepted all summer long to donate to Haiti.
